heat treated 190ite. This flint is found along Highway 190 in Central Texas in Bell and Coryell counties. It is first spalled
then heat treated to 525-550 degrees. It flakes suberbly after heat treatment. Being so easy to work with it is
great for beginners as well as anyone in need of quality knappable material.
